Cord T.The customer service and communication was top notch. They let you know that what you are buying is a replica, so expect a nice replica of a much more expensive guitar. I purchased an Explorer replica. With a set up (which you pretty much have to do on any guitar to suit your preferences) it was playable as-is. I will be doing a bridge pick up swap and maybe some new pots once I get inside but that’s it. I would recommend these to musicians who are able to do their own upgrades etc... because you do get some really nice bones to work with.

John W.As an avid guitar collector, I've purchased guitar replicas and even built guitar replicas. I've personally found that the SRV model is the most difficult to replicate. Sunfield Music, by far, has made this reproduction top notch. The detail is spot on. It's great to prominently display, or to dazzle your friends at your next garage jam session. Jack W.I have purchased two guitars from Sunfield, both guitars arrived in immaculate condition. The SRV #1 not only is an exact replica, it sounds as close as my human ears can hear. I actually held SRV #1 in the early 80s when I met Stevie. And it is so close that you can't see the difference. The Electric Blue Tele was the same, very well made and beautiful. Sounded great. I'm very happy with both guitars.
